Your Split to Dubrovnik Itinerary

 Day 1 Split – Trogir

Our tour starts in Split, a UNESCO World Heritage -listed city beside the azure Adriatic . Sightseeing includes inte Diocletian’s Palace, a vast fortress filled with centuries of history; Grgur ninski Statue and Cathedral of the Bell Tower of St Domnius. Arriving later in Trogir, we embark on a tour of the historic town centre with a local guide. Dinner at a local restaurant for an authentic meal and a warm Croatian welcome.

Day 2 Trogir-KRKA National Park (B)

Today we will see the crystalline lakes and rivers of Krka National Park before visiting the Bibich Winery, a small family-owned wine farm, where we will learn the history of the winemaking in the region, while tasting local wines and gourmet tapas. On our return to Trogir, you have free time to browse around the town and bu some souvenirs.

Day 3 Trogir – Korcula (B,D)

After breakfast we drive to Split where we catch the ferry to Korcula- an island reputed to be the birthplace  of Marco Polo. Once we have checked into our hotel, time for a walk through the Old Town. The rest of the day includes a cooking class and dinner .

Day 4 Korcula (B)

Today we have a free day to explore Korcula. There is an option to take a taxi boat to the tiny island of Vrnik. A lazy day at the beach, enjoying some local cuisine and shopping.

Day 5 Korcula – Peljesac Peninsula -Kotor (B,D)

Sadly we say goodbye to Korcula and set sail to nearby Peljesac Peninsula – well-known for wine-making since the days of the Roman Empire. After a most enjoyable wine tasting we leave Croatia for Montenegro. Kotor-Bay is a soul-stirring site and at the centre lies the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kotor town, seemingly untouched by time.

Day 6 Kotor

Our day starts with a walking tour of Kotor with a local guide. Built like a maze for protective purposes, Kotor was built like a maze and one can easily get lost here. When the tour is finished, we’ll continue to the UNESCO-protected Perast for an insight in to the area’s history. Afterward we take a boat to our Lady of the Rocks- a small church on a manmade island. Here you will learn about the legend behind the church before returning to Kotor Town.

Day 7 Kotor – Lovcen National Park- Dubrovnik (B,L)

After breakfast we take the scenic route to  the picturesque Lovcen National Park- boasting incredible views across Montenegro. We stop for a delicious lunch in the charming little village of Njegusi before driving to Dubrovnik. Evening at leisure  – time to explore the the city of cobbled streets and enjoy dinner at one of the local restaurants.

Day 8 Dubrovnik

A guided tour of the city, exploring the Old Town , the Franciscan Monastery, Cathedral of  Our Lady, Sponza Palace and the Old Port. Weather permitting, we will climb the spectacular Mt Srd on a cable car ride. Tonight we enjoy a last dinner as a group to toast the end of our trip.

Day 9  Dubrovnik – Mali Ston- Trsteno- Dubrovnik

After an early breakfast, we visit the beautiful Trsteno Arboretum( one of the filming locations featured in the Game of Thrones. Lunch at a local oyster farm before returning to Dubrovnik for our departure flight back home.
